I'm not sure how many of you out there listen to or have listened to the band "Sins of thy Beloved" but I just found out that they broke up. This was posted on their message bored by the web master. It seems that after the departure of Anders and Anita they just couldn't get it together. I'm kinda pissed now because I just started getting into them a few months ago and was looking forward to a new album or a tour of some sort. They had hired a new VOCALIST but she didn't work out either. damn shame...

Can anyone recomend any bands that sound similar to TSOTB? Does anyone have any bootleg videos or concerts of theirs for trade? Thanks, Cheers!

If they did break up, that sucks. They had great violin melodies. The first two are especially excellent. Again, Tristania and TSOTB are cut from the same cloth and Sirenia are also up there. Tristania uses the same violinist as TSOTB so the quality is definately there.

Tristania's "Widow's Weeds" album is by far the most worthwhile release in the whole of the "gothic metal" genre.
