Sitar and Mini Harp

In Twilight in Olympus, it says that MJR plays a sitar and a mini harp. I can't hear it really but is there a part when you can hear these instruments?

I'm guessing that it would be in Lady of the Snow...

But MJR can play a sitar? Doesn't it take like 30 years just to learn how to hold one note on the Sitar?

In an interview he did back when V came out, he said that he used a sitar in the intro to Egypt also. He's probably no Ravi Shankar but I'm assuming he messed around with it or something? I'm not sure.

That's awesome! Sitars have a cool sound to them. There does seem to be a sitar-like instrument and a harp in Lady of the Snow, and the Egypt intro could easily be a sitar (or sitar synth).

Like in a Rhapsody album, where it says Staropolis plays the harpsichord... I don't know for sure, but alot of people just said he played a synth harpsichord.

In Egypt there is definitely a sitar in the background now that I listen to it. The guitar sounds mad cool in the beginning of that song too. It sounds like a darn Bouzouki!
I still don't hear a mini harp in Lady of the Snow though. I hear it in a lot of their other songs on other albums like V, but I always assumed that was orchestration work or keyboard.

They are cool. I played a Bach piece on one for a recital actually.

I made a cool harpsichord layer on my keyboard actually, and I once played a broken harpsichord. It was just a little out of tune.
