hey, there's more to ska than the bosstones (altough they're a pretty good band). It's been about since the 60's - started in Jamaica, developed into rocksteady and reggae, enjoyed a resurgence in the UK in late 70's with bands like The Specials and Madness, etc.
I find myself listening to ska and metal, same as a few of the lads in my band. Our trombone player's a sabbath nut, guitarist's into Zeppelin, etc.
