Apparently there was a lack of interest in any Brit bands playing this year.
The reforming of Skin even just for one little performance at Bloodstock would change that I'm sure.
Anyone else miss them like I do?
Just playing the Absolutely Live Cd now............

What exactly do you mean by 'Apparently there was a lack of interest in any Brit bands playing this year' and where did you get this information from? Do you mean there's no interest from the fans in having UK bands or no interest from the UK bands wanting to play?

Anyway, she's still going strong I believe :p

Skin? Jesus, they were boring and shit enough in 94, of all the bands that could reform, they're just about bottom of my preference list, along with Little Angels and Headswim

The whole reason they split up was cos no one was buying their records and they were bored with it all

Remember that "Money" song?! Christ, that was the absolute nadir of early 90s rock music

Blimey, if we're going to have Skin, why go the whole nine yards and have the Quireboys!
Saw them three weeks ago and they were enjoyable in a retro way, but hardly raging metal.

There are good British bands out there, old AND new - Blaze, Saxon, Girlschool, My Dying Bride, Kill II This, Sikth, Stampin Ground, Orange Goblin etc etc...

But it all depends on their schedules, their fee and their suitability on the bill. You know, Tigertailz may have been a good, popular glam band back in the day, but would you put them on before Bodom? No, you wouldn't!

If we're talking old school reformations, my vote for band I'd most like to see at Bloodstock: Exodus.

Ermmm... Hate to break it to you but exodus do indeed live... They released an album recently, tis rather good... Tempo of the Damned.
If you were just saying that they would be good for Bloodstock then i agree...
