Are the samples in platinum better or that different from ex that its worth the upgrade?

I got this e-mail today. I spent about 5 hours creating all of the TCI's from my Slate sample packs the other week. I'd have paid the $50 to have them all done for me cos I'm lazy.

I feel like this.

But srsly, is it worth the $50 for the other Deluxe kicks and snare? And would there be future benefits?
