BWP may be more complex in the sense that most of the music is layered (giving off the impression of a lot going on). However, there are so many boring parts on it... it's hard to listen to it straight through from beginning to end in one sitting (at least for me).

The playing is great on both albums... however, the acoustic guitar is a lot better on Morningrise... and the solo's have a lot more raw energy and sound like they are being played with a lot more emotion. BWP is impressive, but the band sounds like they are going through the motions at times. For me it's like the difference between Metallica's Black album and Master of Puppets... I prefer Master of Puppets... just like I prefer Morningrise to BWP.

Blackwater Park, Deliverance, Damnation, and Still Life are the worst.

Start with Morningrise, go on to Orchid and My Arms, Your Hearse... and stop there.

The rest are unnecessary and will only waste your money.

If you think they're no good anymore, and haven't been for a long time, why are you still lurking around their message board? Are you hoping they'll go back to their old style or something? Or are you just trying to make everyone who actually likes what the band has become feel like they shouldn't?
