I don't come to this little corner of UM very often, so I debated whether to post it here or not, but the more I thought, the more I realized this is THE perfect forum for this.
Someone sent me this link of a guy playing the solo to "Stairway to Heaven." Of course that is about the most overplayed solo ever written, so I rolled my eyes at the link, but clicked on it anyway.
This guy is freaking good !! I am not usually too impressed by worn out 70's solos, but talk about being articulate !! This guy puts more into five notes than most guitarists can do with 50. To me, it sounds like what David Gilmour would sound like if he wrote this solo.
I will shut up now.......
