Like the title says:

From the moment I started recording, I've always panned things as if I'm sitting behind a right-handed kit - hi-hat to the left and toms rolling high-to-low left-to-right. But I play drums (very badly) left-handed, and that's the layout you'd get looking at a left-handed kit from the the front of the stage

So I'm just wondering, how do you lot layout your drums? And do you think it makes a difference?

I like to pan the drums with the hi-hats on the left, toms going from left to right etc with the only reason being that you can air drum along with it! Andy pans them oppositely, suppose it just depends on the preference of whoever is mixing it, and whether they are imagining it as the band playing live, or being behind the instrument.
