Krank it UP!
At the risk of copping abuse over my sloppy testing riffs of the "Gizmo", here are some more anyway:
Gear:
BC Rich Warlock Platinum Pro with EMG81 in Bridge (Tuned E-Flat)
Krank Revolution
THD Hotplate (attenuated quite high at -12 to keep Volume down)
Mesa Traditional 4X12 Rectifier Cabinet (I wrote Standard in my first post, d'oh it is Traditional)
Shure SM57
M-Audio Firewire Solo
Guitar Tracks Pro 3
Krank Settings:
Krank Channel (wanky name for the dirty channel, I know
)
Pres: 5
Sweep: 2
Bass: 8
Mid: 6
Treb: 5
Master 1: 2
Master 2: 0
Gain: 1
Again, I didn't reamp, I played the sample twice so there will be differences to start with. I can hear slightly more pronounced mids and less/smoother highs (although the differences are very very slight). Single tracks as before with no post anything and no sense of timing (hmm a metronome would've been nice)
.
Remember, same disclaimer as first samples, they were just quick tests.

Quite possibly, maybe something to try.
What's that Jeff, we can take the transformer out, Just Kidding
. There is a risk of me killing my mic, but might give it a try.
EDIT: OOPS, didn't mean to post those samples (now this is embarassing), these samples are a shitstir for a mate as to how we used to play ACDC when we first learnt it. Hmm. Think I will Delete it and never return to the board, LOL.
