SM81's

Just Bought A set of SM81's! Seeing if anyone here uses them? (Like someone wouldn't!?) Wondering if anyone has any tips or comments?

I use them for OH and acoustic guitar. OH, spaced pair, with the low cut filter. Acoustic guitars a few feet back pointing at where the neck meets the body with the filters flat.

Sweet. They are mainly gonna be OH mics, but My friend and I have something coming up with piano, and I heard the take that pretty well too.

81's are like the 57's of SDC's...good for most stuff, great for some, and rarely will they flat-out suck

Thats what I figured. I was thinking about a set of nt55's, but no one had a lot to say about them. I heard the nt5 (the nt55's little brother) were alright, but thats not enough to warrant a purchase for me.
