Snare Verbs?

...The drums don't actually sound like the drummer is playing a xylophone!

What are you talking about??? This is probably the best sound you're going to get for metal... right here!

im sort of a set it and forget it, so i just leave the kick pumpin the verb through the whole song

adds some body and width to the stereo image. otherwise the dry drums would be really mono/narrow
 
Hey guys, I could use a little help with this one.....


I'm doing a deathmetal mix right now.... As I'm sure most of you know, I've got a thing for retro-metal & can handle that stuff just fine.
Anyway, I'm curious if any of you can point me in the direction of some of your favourite snare verbs for the fast, blast-beat kinda stuff.

Blastbeats are usually very dry, problably any verb will do. Just automate so you have more room on the slow parts, or if necessary on the last note of the snare.
