Just wanted to start recording for our next album (Incubator)...
our drummer (Migo) is the one that played the Alestorm recordings as well and I fell in love with his snare, so I thought I'd just put some samples up for you.
unfortunately the rim is totally bent and the snare can't be tuned properly, so we stopped recording for today (or didn't even start) and he's gonna get a new rim for tomorrow...
just for some preampteting etc I recorded a couple of samples anyway (which obviously sound by far not as good as they could)

it's a sm57 on top and bottom and a km184 for overheads (clipping in places, but there should be enough samples without clips).
THese files are unprocessed and not edited 24bits 44.1khz.
5 soft, five medium, five hard and the rest crack (with rim).
feel free to throw them in the bin as I will take some better samples tomorrow (with new rim and tuned snare).
