warning: attempting to get such drastic variety and polished sounds from any other drum software may cause stiffening of the neck, achey joints, and leaky intenstines.

Sounds cool man! BTW, the Chunky Rock Kit is Foo Fighters "My Hero." Easy :)

Does this mean I get 2.5 for free?

shred "drymetal kit" is good ole kick5 with a -1.5 db shelf at 100Hz. Its set that way in the new preset... everything from above is 100% out of the box.. NOTHING TWEAKED.

btw just reuploaded the blackline tune with some slightly raised drums so they can be heard better..

We are making beta discs for beta team members, and once it gets the final ok from them, we release it. But its as far as I know, pretty "done".

Wow thats awesome, sounds much better than I remember kick 5 to be! Cracky metal is clearly kick15 however it dosent have the mid-range punch of kick 5.

No futher tweaking from the 2.0 kick5 and the 2.5 version?

Thanks in advance!

Hey Slate, this rules! Is there still a sneap forum discount or am I gonna have to rob a liquor store to buy this? How many gigs is the library gonna be?

Does the 2.5 Standalone version come with cymbals? because in the Blackline track I heard some awesome stick control on the cymbals that I haven't been able to do with any of the Toontrack products

like the demos, but would still love to see a new kit that goes more into the direction of the beefy dry kit. Its my favourite and I use it all the time and it works great for almost everything but metal ;)
Thanks

so yes the Blackline track used 100% SSD 2.5 cymbals and yes it comes in the standalone virtual instrument.

I love the Beefy Dry kit as well, and its back in action in 2.5 with a slightly more defined snare (Snare1). The beefy dry preset also sounds fantastic in the NRG room. We're off to beta and hopefully the next big post will be its release! The drums are mapped so that all your Superior grooves should work with the Keyboard mapping.. we'll also have some metal grooves shipping with the package.

Great job. Sounds better than any other drum sample set I've heard so far. More realistic sound than most Toontrack stuff and AD and fortunately much better overheads than Superior 2.0. I'll definitely be getting this if I can afford it when it comes out. Any indications of the price it is going to sell for?

all toms are seperated, by default they buss out to a stereo tom output but that can be reassigned easily. There is eq for each tom built in as well. Everything posted above is a preset right out of the box.
