Any suggestions ?
Make your own? Buy some? Rummage through the "Rate My Mix" section for ones that you like and ask the OP what was used and go from there?
I mean, you could use them, but on their own, I think they aren't all that great.

Andy's kick, snare and Chimaira tom samples are still my favorite samples to use most of the time.

Ya i agree I used Andys's Snares, Chimaira Toms, Best Kick On Earth, on the last project I did and I think the drums were fucking amazing on it. The Chimaira toms are INCREDIBLE!

Agreed, the kick is insane and makes its way into most of my kick blends, and the Chimaira toms rule. Not too huge on the snare, but horses for courses.
^ I will agree that the snare samp works best when it is blended. I usually use it for the crack and the mic for the body. Seems to work well for my purposes.
To get it to where I like it, all of the Sneap samples require MUCH less processing than anything else I use.

2db bump at around 125 - 140 and a low cut at around 60 is all that snare needs to fit into almost anything metal
