Snow fun???.... Those pictures are exactly how Minneapolis looks right now. Power outages everywhere and horrible traffic for those crazy enough to go to work today.........No Aja...You don't miss the snow.. Excuse me while I go dig out my car now. .........Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

On Friday night/Saturday, we actually got 24 hours+ of rain in Phoenix... and it snowed on the nearby mountains!! Sunday I was driving around and saw the whole set of mountains covered in snow! I've never seen that around Phoenix before! (Of course, the mountains I saw were a good 40 miles away from Phoenix... but still!!)

I wanna go skiing!! \m/

When I moved out here in '90 it did actually snow in the city. Of course it turned to water just a couple feet from the ground, but it was snow!

I just noticed the snow on the mountians to the east today. Really weird to see it!

I love to look at the mountains, from my office I can see the Olympic mountain range across the pond, and then Mt. Rainer out the other room, in the morning with the sun shines on them from behind you yea can see the details.

Mt. Rainer is great, both sides, paradise or sunrise; I love to go there and hike up the trails up to about 7000 feet. That's the moutain that started the "Flying Saucer" thing, when a dentist was flying over it in 1947 he reported it and began the thing that started the movies and things.

Snow far away in the mountains is beautiful and Mt. Ranier is awe inspiring. It is my most vivid memory of Seattle.

I guarantee it's much nicer to hike up to the snow cone from Paradise Lodge in August, or you should also try the Sunrise trails if you ever get there, then go up to the highest point at 3 miles up from the lodge; it’s beautiful and you can sit on the throne made from slabs of rock and watch the technical hikers and see the rest of the world from up there.

Better known as a Highlander, right? As in a Scotish Highlander.

Scot, clansman, highlander, Jock - call me what you will, just don't call me English!!!! Hehehehehehe!!!!!

(or British for that matter, I'm Scottish and have nothing to do with England, Wales or Northern Ireland so why am I British?!? Sorry, I have strong views on that!! Fiercely proud Scot here!!!)

My gran-da was from Aberdeen.

Welcome to all things Scottish where if it's not Scottish it's CRAP!

You know what? I need to see if I can post one of my wedding pics... I got married in a great kilt.
