Great work brian, although I know I may sound like an ass, but in the beginning of the breakdown the left guitar seems to be decaying a bit longer or something and it's doing an awful sound, I don't really want to sound like an ass, because you've got an awesome mix, but it's just improvement pointers Great job once again

they all have jobs, so they're doing a full length on weekends over a period of a couple of months. works for me i guess

sounds totaly like a mix of set your goals (vocals) and four year strong.

But there is something strange in the breakdown but i cant put a finger on it

I have been using this preset for stuff (cubase preset for SSD 3.0 platinum), I see that I seem to favor snare 12A as well.

i usually just blend it in about 1/3 or 1/2 of the volume of the snare. just a little bit helps.

I actually think the z4 samples sound bad untouched, I think you should eq a bit and maybe compress it, sometimes I send it to a medium plate, and use mix the verb at about 5-10% it really depends, yeah seems crazy to go for a verb there, but I get some pretty good results sometimes, try anything ^^ Looking forward to hear more

this band is called Heroes for Tonight. They are doing 9 more songs with me over the next couple of months.
