so how did everyone pull up after xmas day?

Never heard of Culvers.
Actually, I think White Castles are pretty gross, but about once or twice a year I wolf some down. The White Castle shirt I got rules though.
Someone mentioned Baja Fresh and Chipotle - they are both FANTASTIC. There is a Chipotle in the same building as the famed Newport Music Hall, so every time there is a show there these days, that is my pre-show feast.
My idea of the perfect strip mall would have a Chipotle, a Starbucks, a World Market, and a Blockbuster Video. Everything I'd ever need.

I don't eat meat, but I remember a place called Del Taco when I was in Palm Springs last year and I thought it was the coolest place ever. You get fries with your tacos :) I'm from Cleveland, and we have Chipolte and Taco Bell, but neither one of them serves fries. I dunno, I just thought that was the coolest thing ever. I'm lame like that.
Maybe it's because I've had real Mexican food, but I must say Del Taco sucks. Those fries are nasty and don't belong on the menu. And they don't train employees on how to work the drive thru properly. :erk:

I only ate at Del Taco twice and that was last year when I was in Cali. So, I'm not an expert on the place. But I will say that Chipolte is my favorite resturant, the food is good and it fills you up. Its not to expensive either and its fresh :) Its kinda like a mexican Subway :)

You are killing me here.
Hey, she's made it clear to me that is she isn't ready for a "real" relationship, and I'm the one who keeps coming back: BUT she has to have some love for me Brat, she gave a SHITLOAD of awesome Christmas gifts, I mean it was truly unreal, and we spent all the days leading to X-Mas together, looking at lights, going to ballet, and then spent X-Mas eve first with my family then with hers, so we'll see................. I'm always an optimist.

Yeah, yeah. That's why I said you are killing me, not her.

Del Taco Rocks fast food. I like a lot of their stuff more than Taco Bells.
Krazy, did you try the chili fries, duh you don't eat meat. :Spin:

Brat I know its not real Mexican food but certain Del Tacos have better re-fried beans than others. Also they serve diet coke not diet pepsi so I give it the notch on Taco Bell.

On the Mexican food note the best way to go is a small whole in the wall style anywhere from SoCal to West Texas is a good place to find one.
For brunches El Torito and Alcapulco do a pretty good job on Mexican cusiune. Damn I couldn't live with out Mexican food.

Taco Bell has Pepsi because they're owned by Pepsi and it would be a dumb business move to have Coke in them. But I agree, Coke is better. :)

I don't like Del Taco or Taco Bell all that much, but I'd pick Taco Bell over Del Taco any day. There's one of each about 1/4 mile from each other, and I don't go to either often, but when I have to pick, I go with TB. (Hmm..that doesn't look right. )

I'm not a fan of refried beans. They look and smell like dog food, and I just can't do it.

Hole in the wall places are awesome for Mexican food. I know of several around here that just kick ass. But the best stuff is still in Mexico, and I got some wicked cravings while I was pregnant. But my husband didn't want to drive four hours for lunch, so I went without.

Yeah I know about the whole Pepsi owning Taco Bell thing. Along with Frito Lays, KFC and Pizza Hut. We used to sell them all Health Insurance at one point. You can't go wrong with TB that's my initials  and I never drive to Mexico to eat though, I just drive over to Lechugas(lettuce) in Hawaiin Gardens and get some pusole(spelling), enchiladas, rice beans con chorizo.

I never went to Mexico just to eat. I spent a couple weekends there back when I had some freedom. The food just plain rules.

For food, I prefer Armando's (their breakfast burritos, and carne asada nacho RULE), but there are other places that are also really good. My husband stops at Filiberto's in the mornings for a chorizo burrito. I can't do chorizo, though. I'm picky about food sometimes.
