i tried... best i can do so far... so FAR... is Candlemass and Testament... i tried with Nevermore, but the vocals are "too high"

Nu-metal is rather effective, its easy to swallow, but not too much. Temper the nu-metal with stuff like Sepultura, Pantera, Testament, Megadeth, Slayer... Once they get comfortable with that and start listening to metal exclusively start them into death, black, doom, prog, and whatever else there is (mostly combinations). I'm in the process of getting them past thrash to death and black-the point of no return.

I haven't converted any of my friends to my music. One likes Iron Maiden and another likes Blind Guardian, but it wasn't my doing. I tried to get them into Nevermore but it failed. They all like *nu-metal*. I was in the process of converting a friend and then he moved. I got him into Dream Theater with SFaM and then Stratovarius. Then, I was going to get him into Nevermore and Iced Earth. Then Opeth and In Flames. And so on and so on. Damn, I was so close into making another Metalhead in this hick infested fuck hole.

I shop for CDs at Newbery Comics. They have a large metal section. They have a lot of good stuff. Every Amorphis, every Opeth, Every Nevermore, lots of Syphony X. The Place is great. Make a list of CDs you're looking for and I'll check and see if they are there.

The stupid store in our fucking lame ass local mall charged, like, $25 for one fucking CD. Bastards. Of course, they had a pretty interesting selection, considering they were such a lame place... I saw DNB there, and some other decent stuff. But no way in Hell am I paying 25 bucks for one CD

The reason i get them cheaper, is RON doesnt run the prices up, they only make around 50 cents a cd. So, we get good deals on our stuff, unless they are imports you know.
