i figured out last night--and tested my hypothesis this morning--that it was quicker for me to WALK to work (22 minutes) than take the T (30-35 minutes, more if one doesn't come shortly. ive wasted sooo much time and money over the past two years!!

i was once at a guitar clinic and the guy (blues saraceno) said it is physically impossible to play wah and not make the "wah" sound with your mouth while you do it. i have found that to be troo.

when i was in 4th grade, i used to draw this guy walking down a city street with a boombox and sunglasses. i just recalled that since you mentioned it. but i did like a gagillion drawings of the same guy and boombox. ah, growing up in the midwest. i think he had a mullet too.

yeah, but boomboxes were easier to recognize when my scribbly hand drew them. walkmans are not so easily rendered in colored pencil by the hand of a 4th grader with a crack problem.
