After a particularly tragic accident involving angry wind gods and broken guitars, I ended up duct taping the pick guard and bridge pickup of an Epiphone SG onto the body of a Squier Strat and creating an abomination. Said abomination looks like this:
Now, the intonation was still godawful, so that precluded its use in anything serious. It also doesn't mean shit if you play the strings open.
I've been working on electronic rock for the better part of the past year, and it was about time to try my hand at something heavy again.
I changed the gain channel on the amp sim and hit record.
Due to a haphazard ability to keep time, I mostly stay to the production side of things, but this time I sucked it up and screamed angrily about rainforest animals for the greater good. I needed to edit my timing a lot less by the end of it, and for never having done it before, I think it turned out pretty well.
I'm pretty happy with it, but I really wouldn't mind some constructive criticism, scathing remarks, or applause.
