so, I'm fatting.

I don't understand it really - I only eat once or sometimes twice a day - I don't actually have fast food often (fewer times than once a week), and I briskly walk at least a mile each day.

The hell?

i indian-buffeted it on Saturday (see: paneer), which was actually the first all-you-can-eat indian buffet i'd ever been to that wasn't entirely vegetarian (all the ones i would hit in Philly were like four bucks for aloo matar and saag and chana and the like, but no MEAT). yum!

toby, did you quit smoking or do anything else to slow your metabolism? cut out caffeine?

yeah prep, it hit me pretty hard i think

of course I'm always looking for excuses. all I know is I can't eat and drink what I want anymore without facing 'consequences'.

frostgiant, it doesnt happen to everyone. i mean, my dad is 55 and still a rail and he eats non stop. i can eat essentially whatever i want and never get really fat. some people have more revved metabolisms than others.

yeah, i totally have this happening too. only i was a chubby kid, and really only was normal weight from age 22-26. now it's harder to lose weight, even with exercising 3 times per week and eating relatively healthy. or maybe i'm just lazier now than i was a few yrs ago.
either way, it's a BUNCH OF CRAP.

My stomach is pooching because my job involves a lot of sitting and if I don't pack lunch, I grab fast food... which happens to be half of the time. But my fast food isn't THAT unhealthy, I usually eat veggie-laden subs or burritos from Chipotle.

But after I start working out again after I purchase a lock for a locker, I'm going to slim down all that extra weight in a jiffy. It's only like 5 lbs of tub... not much to speak of.
