A post on the DragonForce forum suggests that Helloween are very, very, very nearly confirmed to headline BS04.

Sounds pretty good to me... Now, add RAGE to the bill to headline friday and we're home and dry :)

Yeah - the Scorpions !

I don't think they've played the UK since... 'World Wide Live..?'

Bad Boys Running Wild, now you'd better get out of their weeeeeeeeee....'

They don't write 'em like that any more...

I dont care that they're positively geriatric. Trouble is I bet they'd want the entire Bloodstock budget.

helloween would be most worthy of bloodstock... itll make it well worth my 35 quid alone, again... such value for money....

Was that post by me by any chance :D

I heard from someone who appears to be very knowledgable about these things and she said that while they aren't 100% confirmed they are very close to agreeing.

Hah! This is total news to me. We have approached several possible headliners but not one has come back with any "close agreements". In fact it is far too early for any headliner to agree yet. Most bigger bands will know what their schedule is around Jan / Feb time - and this is the time we confirm a headliner based on who can logistically do it within their schedule.

As for Helloween - this is in fact one band we have not approached as their schedule has a show next week in the UK, and they will be back in 2004 to offer up more solo headline dates themselves as far as I know.

Well thank you for clearing this up for me :)

I now know that this person who told me about Helloween is a lying scumbag and will recieve a kick next time I set eyes on their lying carcass.

Cheers

Oh...Sorry for saying that then...can you tell us who you have approached then?
