So, is it Helloween for '04 then..?

Manowar are one of those bands which would eat the entire festival budget (As are Priest, Scorpions, Motorhead etc.)
:-( I was hoping you might have at least made an approach to Priest, in the hopes that they'd agree on sentimental grounds -- headlining the UK's premier metal festival[1] would be a perfect return to glory for them, even if it's not exactly Wembley Arena (which they could always play the following week :) I'm surprised that Motorhead are so expensive, though. And to a certain extent, Scorps, too.

[1] Even the rock press are acknowledging this, so it's a fair claim.

SA may not be big enough to headline yet, but surely main support? pity about helloween, but im sure someone just as fun can be found, if not more!

Sonata artica would be nice :D

I know my buddy at work would be happy

:D

Too bloody right I'd be happy. Great to see others feel the same way.

I'd agree that they are not big enough to headline as they get little recognition over here. In Finland maybe, but as for Bloodstock they'd be good as special guests with someone like Stratovarius.

Either way, I'd love to see them, and to meet them aswell will make it all the better.

Well i reckon its all a matter of time now :D:)

I grow weary of this generic Euro-Trash Power Metal.

Something different please,

Moonsorrow
Sentenced
Thyrfing
Menhir
Windir
Ancient Rites
Amon Amarth
Opeth
Therion
Tenhi

How about Forefather, English Pagan/Viking metal

Please I can't be the only person who would like one of these bands.

European, but not Power Metal
