Falwell dies, yet, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are still here.
no justice.
Indeed. I am no fan of any of these hustlers, whether it is race or religion they exploit, but I cannot help but wonder of the media would treat the death of a Sharpton the same way. Well, actually, I don't wonder at all - I(and we all) know they would not. The media enthusiasm over Falwell's passing is palpable and they couldn't wait until the old bastard's corpse had reached room temperature before they began trotting out his detractors for joyful commentary. Imagine...just try to imagine this festival of criticism and derision over Sharpton's stiff carcass!

word.
at least Falwell apologized for things he'd said and done to upset people. Sharpton and Jackson do nothing but lie and instigate racial tension at every opportunity.
in the big picture, Falwell was a minor player who's only real 'crime' was practicing his faith in a very public way. anybody that let him get under their skin enough that they'd actually celebrate his death have apparently got some issues they should deal with that have nothing to do with Falwell.
You said thank GOD!! oh...the irony.
