It looks like this doesn't perform the actual sample replacement.

It is an audio > MIDI converter, so you'll still have to export the MIDI into some kind of sampler in order to trigger audio.

apTrigga is still the one to beat, IMO.

You're right, but I'd much rather do that for the flexibility. In fact, I do it that way now inside of Sonar rather than using Drumagog, so I don't imagine I'd need this tool.
May not be for everybody, but for what it is, it's pretty cool.
 
I finally bought apTrigga last week. 99% of the time it seems to be extremely intelligent even on snare rolls that I wouldn't expect it to catch. I'm pleased.

What mode are you using for rolls?

I'm a fan of Sequential because it never plays the same sample twice in a row. Usually a series of 4 different samples is enough to fool the brain into hearing a real drum, and I've got 6 or 7 different samples per velocity.
