I don't know what it is but I've just never seen the attraction of a cruise ship. I understand the pampering and whatnot, you can get that at any all-inclusive resort for about half the price AND you can actually GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They're leaving from a beach and arriving at another beach, only to return to the original beach, stuck on a boat with obnoxious metalheads. No thanks. I'd kill to see Marduk's faces at the end of all this. Save yer money, kids...go experience another culture.
I know this one's different with all the bands and stuff, but for $1000 dollars you can travel a lot further than Cozumel, and that's not counting the money it's going to take to get to the port of call. Actually I've been to Cozumel and the diving's fantastic, as well as the resorts. I would just go there instead and dive all day. Fuck the concerts...they play everywhere anyway (except for Sanctuary, that is).
I guess it's a good idea for everyone who lives in either Iowa or the Yukon, but I just don't see the draw for anyone else.
