yea i can believe that, metallica is now a POP band, they do whats popular to the masses, think about it, slipknot, mudvayne, meshuggah, they have all hit it big, why wouldnt metallica do something to copy them? they wanna sell records to buy more bently's, they dont care about the music anymore, that shows via black---reload albums, on their previous albums they actually cared and were in it for the money they were alcoholica not ferriaholica, i mean come on, will anyone on here buy their CD???? i sure wont, it will be downloaded and stolen the right way, will i buy at LEAST two copies of damnation? damn straight i will, i support the bands that make a difference in my life via my hard earned money, its like giving them a part of me and recieving a part of them, i dont really want a part of metallica

P.S: there was a time in my life where i would have gladly paid 100 bucks for the tickets, then 10 bucks for a bottle of water, and 70 bucks for a jersey, or 50 for a t-shirt, but at this point for METALLICA i would NEVER do that, now for opeth i would do what ever it took

I'm very curious about Metallica's new shit. I think it's gonna be genuine Metal(lica) again. Really. They have money enough. They're doing it for the music man. Not for the money! Ok, the Loads were shit, but I think you're gonna be surprised. Musically it can never top Master Of Puppets or any Opeth album, but I think it's gonna kick some M.F. ASS! There this feeling I have. Metallica's new bassist is good..Didn't mind old Suicidal Tendencies,, but the last 10 years of Metallica releases have been utter dog crap..Metallica don't thrash or burn and are now corperate sellouts..I band that got exposure through tape trading poo poos napster? BULLSHIT! Opeth are light years ahead of Metallica and so are Nile, and I doubt that Metallica would alienate thier nu metal fanbase by challinging the Euro metal scene..I saw Metallica in '86, '88, '89 when they were truly metal and they were very good back then, but since Metallica have cashed in on various trends just to make $ SCREW THEM..No one could ever replace Cliff Burton and I'm sure the new 'tallica bassist will be hazed like Newstead was..
BTW I wouldn't pay (or for that matter go for free) to any tour that features Stinkin Park,Limp Dizcut, and insert nu metal trend whores here ___________
