We were safe on the west side of houston. rain, but barely any flooding. Now the east side was flooded like crazy. damn, had to go to work..heh

Shit out here West we flooded the first night. wasn't aware we had bought riverfront property when we bought the house.

Glad to hear you guys are all right. Shit like that is no fun. I had a fire about 3 years ago and lost almost everything on the top floor of the house.
My daughter lit a candle and had it sitting on her bed for who knows what reason, left the room, and about 20 minutes later it was like, "What's that burning smell?" We caught it pretty quickly but her room was toast and everything upstairs had smoke and water damage. Thank god for insurance!
