That thread discussion that Nailz posted to me only shows one thing: The prog(musictheory)snobs use their vast knowledge to compensate for their inability to maintain a normal social life. "Girlfriends? Friends? Who needs them when we have the Circle of Fifths and 47/9 time signatures?"

It just seemed to me like they were clarifying and helping others understand after someone made a joke. There might have been a touch of attitude from one or two people, but nothing bad really. Chill out perhaps?
