Iced Earth - Glorious Burden

I have a problem with this album in that the first disc is ok. It's not my favourite IE material, and wouldn't make my top 10 list.

However, the Gettysburg trilogy could quite possibly be the best music they've EVER recorded, and so now I have a dilemna....

I can't say I disagree with you here JK. Gettysburg is worth a 10 out of 5, and the rest of the album is about a 3.5 out of 10...so I split the difference. I also haven't heard anywhere near the amount of music you guys have this year, so it can still break into my top 10.

I just downloaded an mp3-version of it...while unemployed I can't justify the $15 right now...I do like what I've heard thus far, but I haven't given it the proper attention yet.

It's been growing on me after being misled into thinking it leaned too heavily towards the generic power metal side, the track with Kursch is a great one, but my shifting tastes will likley keep this out of my year end list.
