I'm 36. The bands are from the early to mid 80s. The live albums were from like 1990/1991.

GBH are hard core from Great Britian, so you can see how they could influence a speed metal band. Old pics of Anthrax\SOD will show guys in GBH, Broken Bones and Discharge, COC and DRI tee shirts.
I recommend the album Leather, Bristles, No Survivors and Sick Boys.

DI is from Orange County CA.
I reccomend that you buy their album Horse Bites Dog Cries.
Also, Slayer covered their song Richard Hung Himself on their punk cover album. Also, the song appears on\in the movie Suburbia. Flea is in the movie as well as another actor who played the So Cal surfer in Platoon.

i tend to buy very few live albums, but one that i really enjoy is alice in chains unplugged. it's a damn shame that layne staley couldn't kick the smack habit. they were a band that could have had real staying power.
