I made an earlier thread and I was going to delete it but I guess we're not allowed to do that.

But anyway, I was playing around with some plug in demos tonight and ended up buying the Voxengo Elephant. I was also playing with the PSP Vintage Warmer. I wanted to post two clips and see who people thought of them.

This isn't a "guess which one has plugs," it's more of a "which do you like better and for what reasons?

the 2nd seems a bit louder, so it might be alittle skewed. I prefer the second one, but i don't know whether it has to do with it being louder.

Well blah. I guess I'm not surprised. I guess I'll just say I threw the Vintage Warmer over the drum buss on the second one. That's probably why it's louder. I didn't tweak it afterwords but if I brought it down... It seems to add a bit more grit and bite to the snare to me.

And yeah I listened back. Definitely louder.
