So who knows Narnia (band)?

Discovered these guys last night. Kick ass stuff. VERY similar to Nocturnal Rites so if you liked their last 2 records check out Narnia's latest (and presumably their earlier works as well).

I listened to some songs in the past, never got into them (or Nocturnal Rites for that matters).

I like their earlier neo-classical material. The original singer Christian left the band & the new release as taken a different direction. New singer has more grit...and the new tunes have more of an edge to them. Good stuff.

I used to like their early neo-classical stuff, but I'm kinda burned on this style now. I think the new one is their best, the neo-classical stuff is gone in favor of a heavier style, yet still melodic and catchy. New singer is excellent. The comparison to Nocturnal Rites makes sense, even though NR are still better than Narnia IMO.

Narnia sounds pretty good...but I'm more familiar and like CJ Grimmarks work in Rob Rocks band.
