What's the best band you 'discovered' in 2004?

That's a fairly poor justification when trying to compare Black Metal to Punk. Thrash Metal is much more in the position that Punk is in with respect to Hard Rock than Black Metal. I think that's pretty obvious.

I've discovered a lot of great bands in 2004: Orphaned Land, Cage, Mob Rules, Cruachan, TYR, Everon, Lefay, Gary Hughes, Wuthering Heights, Cans and Missa Mercuria.

Last year was great too! Ayreon, Therion, Tad Morose, Nightwish, Nikolo Kotzev, Circle II Circle, Shadow Gallery and Dream Evil.
