Interesting conversation, and one I've been following on the Sean Hannity show and Rush Spinbaugh and the rest of those fuckin loons that just stay stuck in a mantra that's bordering on drone at this point.

Death penalty is fundamentally flawed, and the principle that man should be judge and executioner is just flat wrong if you call yourself a christian, which a large portion of the US country does. Hypocrisy.

You cannot tell man to not kill and then set an example by state sanctioned murder. I do not want MY tax dollars going to this, as I do not and never will support it.

The death penalty is like suicide, "an easy way out." they get to appeal and appeal, with the chance of getting out, etc. System takes forever, as witnessed last night, they often screw up in trying to even administer the shit once they actually get around to carrying it out.

People that commit such heinous acts should NEVER be let out. Stick em in a very small cell for the rest of their lives in solitary. It is very cheap if you want to make it so. And even if it starts to increase in price, most prison systems have headed towards privatization, it's big business.
