I watched the metalkult.com interview of Opeth, and Mikael speaks on his involvement of the new Bloodbath mini-cd. He says something along the lines of getting a call from the guys in Bloodbath while they were in the studio and having a vocalist that, cannot cut it. I was wondering if you guys have any ideas/clues as to who this vocalist was? Just a curious question. Something that peaked my interests. Any of you guys heard anything about this? Blakheim? Jonas? Sodomizer?

I couldn't imagine them using Kopulator and not enjoying his work, but who knows. I thought that he was just a finalist for their search. Who knows though. I have definitely thought about this. I thought that they recorded with a vocalist, but didn't like what they recorded.

I'd think otherwise, just for the fact that it should really be an honor to even come close to getting the job when they're matched up against Mike and Peter.

I remember Swano posting about this. He said he "heard through the grapevine" that the planned vocalist didn't work out. I dunno about Kopulator, but it'd be nice to find out who.

Don't think it was Kopulator, he wouldn't of posted such a happy reply as to comming in second place. Plus, he DEVASTATES, and has recording experience, so I doubt that it was him.
