Solefald - Red For Fire - An Icelandic Odyssey Part I

I can't stop listening to the mp3 you sent me so yeah . It seems amazing on so many levels .

EDIT : Yeah quite good and surprising . You got more of an album feeling than before (well it's a concept album , isn't it?) . Promising .

I never did "get" these guys. Linear Scaffold and Neonism were cool releases, but they never struck a chord with me as anything I'd really listen to more than a handful of times. I did, however, appreciate what they were doing (or trying to do).

THeir third album was just shit. SHIT! And I gave up after that, so I've never heard In Harmonica whatevers.

Best thing about them was their cool packaging. I never was much into the avant black metal stuff lke SOleflad and Arcturus, though.

But the Solefald dude is great on the Asmegin album.

my 5 cents......

I hated Pills Against the Ageless Ills, but that was in the olde days when I hated every album that wasn't recorded by a pair of Swedes and a Uruguayan rhythm section

While it's a good introduction with awesome songs , some tracks are even more amazing IMO . Didn't want to spoil the album :)

you might like some of the early stuff, but yeah, it pretty much is pretentious novelty art fag bullshit, simply of fairly high quality

*frantically downloads*

i haven't listened to in harmonia for awhile now, but that there's a damn fine album.

can i switch that to *maniacally downloads* ?
