Well, yes your right, but software amps are coming along at a blinding pace. The dynamics and response on the 5150 model is quite realistic in feel.. Great for scratch tracks and practicing though....

I agree about it maybe sounding a bit distant, but it's actually pretty cool for just one track! Is there verb on that, or does it naturally have that much 'spread?' If it does, that'd probably sound pretty muddy in a mix, double or quadtracked.

I had a bit of IK's CSR plate reverb at the end of the signal. I was just playing around with it in a VST chainer host and that host will stream to HD anytime you come up with a catchy lick and don't want to forget it. So it is wet and widened. I should do a dry track and stick it in for comparison.
