I open the impulses folder and it doesn't show any waves... it happens only with the last

wow my computer is not digging Boogex. It maxes out my CPU when I try to use more than one instance of Boogex. Does this happen for you guys that use it? I am using it in Cubase and have a P4 2.5. If Boogex is a computer hog, is there another plug-in out there that works better but not too expensive?

I've been using kefir for the last couple months and so far it's been the best. Even before the recent update it's been excellent.

has anyone had any luck using their PODxt with these impulses. I guess it's just the POD itself but I can't really get a good result. Well one that I'm happy enough with to start recording anyway.

PODxt's are pretty susceptible to impulses. Just make sure you turn off the cab simulation on the pod and you should be good to go. You'll need to tweak, but it's better than using the POD's internal cab sim.

Tried "impulsing" today for the first time and was very suprised how easy it is to get a good tone in your bedroom. Very impressive!

Thanks guitarhack for these impulses. I will probably record a lot more metal now that I can get my Engl Savage 120 sound on tape without having to a) crank it and then b) mic it in my living room ...
