Im sad that there's such a lack of Impulses kixking about (praise Splatt-Guitarhack)If I had a decent cab id give this a go!

I know there's alot of you in this forum with decent cabs why aren't more of you giving this a go am I the only one thats fassinated by the whole Impulse thing thats happening at the moment!

Nice one,

How difficult is it to create an Impulse ?
I would very much like to create one using my friends VHT deliverance cab,
If someone could point me in the right direction ill give this a go on Sat and post the impulses (will probably use sm57 mic).

Im short on time, Can you tell me out of those 60 impulses what is the best ?
Im using my Peavey 6505 (pre amp out) along with pristine space so i have the option to combine more than 1 cab at a time.

Also if im successfull creating an impulse I also have a JCM 800 cab id like to give a shot, Ive heard alot of people get bad results with good gear is there any secrets i should be aware of before attempting the VHT deliverance cab ?

Ill be using a marshall 9200 mono block poweramp,

my guess is, ill run the outputs of my soundcard into the poweramp into the vht cab, run the sm57 mic back into my soundcard and record ??

Here's one way:

Voxengo's Deconvolver

Basically a Freq Sweep is output through the Cab (can drive the output stage of the amp) and recorded, then the recorded WAV file is processed with a program like Deconvolver to create the impulse.

I am looking for a Mesa 4x12 Impulse made with a Mesa Triple (or Dual) Rectifier and SM57, to use with PODxt´s Diamondplate model. Can anyone help me?

I can´t find Kazrog´s Mesa 4x12 Impulse to download
The only zip that I found have some files without extension and MacOSx folders.

That's the file (the 2mb one). You need altiverb to use it however.

Oh, I was trying to use it with KeFir IR plugin. I even tried to add ".wav" to the file´s extension but the plugin couldn´t read it anyway. Thanks for the light.
Is there any easy way to convert this altiverb format to .wav, for use on KeFir, Boogex, etc?
