22 FOOTSWITCH:
CLEAN/LEAD; GAIN LO/HI
1/4" stereo jack for connecting a dual
footswitch (e.g. ENGL Z-11) or a MIDIswitching
system (e.g. ENGL Z-11).
The following functions can be executed:
1.Channel switching Clean - Lead
(mono terminal)
2.Gain Lo - Hi (stereo terminal).

PREAMP DEFEAT; CONTOUR

footswitch (e.g. ENGL Z-11) or a MIDIswitching
system (e.g. ENGL Z-11).
The following functions can be executed:
1.Preamp Defeat / Bypass
(mono terminal).
2.Contour switching (stereo terminal).

For another $254 USD you can add MIDI switching to the e530 with the Engl Z-11 MIDI Switcher

UPDATE (April 20) - here's the best clip of all IMO, tighter playing, no Maxon, and GuitarHack Inch off Edge-1, and GuitarHack JJ FRED45 (2 tracks of each), no post processing at all (previous clips had URS API EQ):

Just got me an e530! Is this GuitarHack JJ FRED45 0, FRED45 1 or FRED45 HALF you are referring to? Can't seem to find just GuitarHack JJ FRED45
