some new gear....

the other night a friend of a friend of the band sold us some gear for dirt cheap. I suspect the gear could have been stolen, but supposedly the guy had it for months and months and kept telling our drummer he was holding it for us.

What are your guys' opinions on situations like this? Is it wrong of us to have this gear? I mean, it's not 100% positively stolen stuff, I just have a hunch because it's a decent amount of stuff ($500-600 worth , for $80 ) and either the dude needed money bad, and didnt know what the stuff was worth, or he just didnt give a shit.

haha I've had a few people fighting over it the past few years but I think I'll keep it in the arsenal. Been using it at practice lately because the jam space is filthy and have no road case for the Boogie.

i've all but given up on that place, though, even if it does come back online
