Many great lyrics in this thread. I love Dio/Sabbath and mid-era Queensryche as well. Great lyrics on The Scorps song too. I actually didn't know those lyrics verbatim. Those were VERY well written. There is no way I could pick just one, nor just one artist and in this case, it was tough to decide which song from just this release, but Metal Church and particularly Vanderhoof has always been one of my favorite lyricists. They were always very down-to-earth style lyrics, but they were not afraid to tackle any subject from child abuse to vampires.
