ok i was listening to 'Arriving Somewhere But Not Here'...and parts of the solo at 8:50 sounds Exactly like 3:58 in Hours Of Wealth.....i wonder who wrote it first...Mike or Steven....and if this was talked about before....dont be cunts lol

i didnt feel like searching through the whole forum for it so i made a thread, and figured there was a chance it was mentioned before, thats why its there....and its after my question..not before, friggin tool

Well, the question is answered, so can't every body fuckin' shut up about it unless they have something to add that has to do with the original topic.

It's funny to listen to songs by other bands that Mike contributed to. I never really thought he had a distinct guitar style until I listened to Arriving Somewhere But Not Here. That first little lick in his solo has a presence in a few Opeth songs if I'm thinking correctly tonight.

someone had to cut it short, you would have been babbling all night trying to prove youre not a moron otherwise.

in case you are just joining us at home...score: NFU = 4 , Noobtart = 0

NineFeet, Led, call off the fucking pissing contest.

Lightning, have you heard "Mordet i Grottan"? That distinct sound is there also.

you need to just step away from the keyboard, remove the dildo from your ass, and give it a rest, your persona is really quite lame and its getting old, grow up

Mikael ripped it from that song and used it for the Damnation album. Then Mordet i Grottan was released on the net for free.

I think.
