Somewhat recent session (Northlane-ish)

Band I recorded in some pretty wacky conditions back in October. Drums were a lower end Tama and Dominion snare in a construction site I was working on because the place I had fell through. I had no separation from anything and almost no time to play with getting tones. The drums are all natural with the exception of the kick having an aux with it own samples and DM5 behind it. Guitars are POD HD going through a Dual Rec and Marshal (V30) cab because the guys Rec sounded awful. My setup is in storage, so it was mixed on HD280s pretty quickly.

I think I did a decent job for not recording acoustic instruments and amps in almost 2 years. I wanted to keep everything natural sounding since everyone is on this Slate/AxeFX hype- especially for these younger bands.

Definitely a million things I need to improve, but I thought I'd share for some input besides the terrible low end and hilarious 808s
