holy shit what a good album, I was just listening to it a couple days ago, agree with greg. I love this band, and the songs "A Natural Distaster" and "Flying" really are songs that leave me in goosebumps, on the floor in fetal position sucking my thumb after listening. I'm lucky when I saw them live it was really sunny and I had my sunglasses on, so nobody I was with could see the flood happening behind those glasses during a natural disaster.

That is all.

I cried too! but cuz i did not see them (i was sick). What a fucking birthday gift

I was expecting more recent stuff (a lot of u posted some "old" music) but this confirms that is more and more difficult to find this kind of songs.

My personal opinion is that creative music disappeared almost completely around year 2000. ;)

This is the last song the band recorded, and closes out their second album. It's one of those songs where you realize that sometimes, simple chords and simple words can mean so much more than anything else. I love the hell out of this song.

And no, it's definitely not new :)

everything by Anathema, Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley

On 9/11/01, we had a TV at work and watched the whole thing unfold. It was numbing. That night after my wife and daughter had gone to bed, I was channel surfing the news and MTV had a montage of photos from the rescue efforts, and it was put to Jeff Buckley's version of "Hallelujah". I completely broke down at that point, and that song will always remind me of that day until I die. I go a little numb every time I hear it.
