That song I posted has been cited by actual black metal musicians, such as Fenriz, as being among the first-generation black metal songs to exist. So I'll trust their opinion over that of some fucking Armenian. Thanks. Maybe you and Hamderper Boy are too fucking stupid to figure out that black metal didn't actually begin with Mayhem?

Well, yeah, duh. Venom, Sodom, Hellhammer, etcetc have all been cited too. But "the half-arsed bland 2nd wave" pretty much started with Mayhem (and Sarcofago and stuff). But that's not to discount the contributions of the innovative first-wave bands. My point is just that Bathory is incredibly overrated in terms of contributing anything creative to metal development outside of image. Quorthon probably had ten times the musical AIDS that Schuldiner was accused of dying of.
