Old subject I'm sure, but it's always interested me. Which songs would you want played at your funeral? Take into consideration emotional value and nostalgia (even though you'd be dead for it :loco:)

My Dying Bride - Black God
Opeth - To Bid You Farewell (yeah yeah)
Astriaal - Glories of the Nightsky

And depending on how I died, possibly the whole of Suicidal Emotions by Abyssic Hate (fuck off you mongrel fucks, go whine about it elsewhere).

The entirety of Enslaved's Vikingligr Veldi.

Followed by Burzum's entire catalogue.

My sister wanted us to play Bob Marley at her funeral. I admit it was a bit strange to hear this song in a church...

For me...I don't want people to bother, the sound of flames will do.

"Under the sea", Little Mermaid soundtrack, while my body is being dumped into the ocean. :)

Mozart's Requiem Mass performed with a full choir and orchestra.

Playing recorded music at funerals, weddings etc. is unbelievably tacky.

Cathedral-A Funeral Request,Phantsmagoria,Autumn Twilight,Equilibrium,Frozen Rapture,Electric Grave
Black Sabbath-Electric Funeral,Children of The Grave
The Gathering-In Sickness & Health
Acid Bath-Graveflower
Mercyful Fate-The Old Oak
Solitude Aeturnus-Dream of Immortality,Haunting The Obscure,Spiral Descent.

"Dawn Of Battle" by Manowar, particularly the part where it says:

"I will rise up from the chaos
I will rise up from the grave
A brother to the darkness
A master to the slaves

I give no explanation
I was branded by the will
To bring of death and destruction
To all that I will kill"

:p
