I was wondering if anyone had seen this site?
Songsterr
It's a site with a JAVA (??? not positive thats it's JAVA, but none the less) application that loads the selected song and plays a MIDI backing track while displaying the tablature for the song. Seems like they have a pretty good selection of tunes and it even has a built in mixer to select the parts (guitar 1 or guitar 2) and the volumes of different parts. It's probably just an online interface into PT or GP files, but sort of cool none the less.
While the backing tracks leave much to be desired, it is an interesting way of learning a song if you are looking for a quick tab and backing track in one place.
Usefull? Who knows, but it is interesting.
