Songwriting: How fast is inhumanly fast for a drummer?

220 230bpm - alot can play
230-240bpm - top drummers can play
240-250bpm - only a small few can truly play.

So i would stay aound the 220-230 if you wish to get a drummer to play it.

^^^This guy knows his shit!

I have had like 30 drummers play 220bpm

I have had like 3 drummers play 240bpm

and 0 play 250bpm

But if you want to go on the safe side, program stuff at 200-230 bpm and if you do 16th note blast beat parts, don't do them more than 16 bars, because it starts to get REALLY tiring for the drummer and also in my opinion it sounds boring for the listener. In my opinion the amount of grindcore blast beats vs variation is pretty awesome in this song:

4 bars of intro
8 bars of blast
4 bars of chorus
8 bars of blast
4 bars of chorus
8 bars of breakdown
8 bars of c-part
4 bars of intro
2 bars of blast

blast beats in 160 sound like Devourment or Cyptopsy stuff... nothing inhuman really...gravity-blast will surely "save the day" here.

Get in contact with Wormed, they may know someone, they replaced their own drummer recently.
So they probably know some names.

...and tell their asses to release new shit already!!! haha

one of the few bands that actually needs to sound like shit to sound awesome and brutal as fuck
